In 1964, Ciro De Pascale set up a shoe factory in Herculaneum, Naples, Italy. He wanted to make beautiful shoes crafted from local materials by local people. In 1994 Calzaturificio De Pascale became Calpierre. Calpierre shoes are known for their innovative designs from fine Italian leathers. Now in its third generation, Calpierre still uses local materials to make its shoes, and local people who have a passion for what they do.
